Under Construction - The cuban new revolution

The Construction fever has burst out throughout Cuba. The number of tourists, four million this year, have been exponentially increased thanks to the new political course. These numbers have put in distress the accommodation facilities of the island. In the past years, the Government adopted diverse policies to develop the tourist sector. Thanks to these new laws, family-run-business has grown all over Cuba, in form of B&B, "Casas particulares" or as "Paladares", small bistros. The possibility to earn in CUC, the convertible pesos, allows this new social class to acquire a better purchasing power. The flow of money is reinvested, as fast as possible, to restore and enlarge their homes, in order to offer more renting rooms and expand their business.
